Easy transfer baby gift

So I'm back from blogging Siberia (sorry!) Holidays and life got the better of blogging for a while. But today I came across this fabulous tidbit from Emily Powers.

A few hours, some T-shirt transfer and a white cotton baby onesie later and voila! A super simple but stylishly cute baby gift. Front first-

Colour challenge papertrey style

I apologise for the dodgy photo, I have to take it and upload tonight because I will be busy, busy tomorrow. You'll have to trust me that the colours look a lot more like this in real life...
This is a pretty out there colour combo for me! But it was fun trying something new. All the details for the challenge are at Nichole Heady's blog.

Super quick card

If you are in need of a quick card or a challenge, then CPS card sketches are a great resource. Papertrey Ink are sponsoring a challenge there at the moment, and this card was based on the sketch for that challenge.

I used some felt in honour of the fact that PTI will now be stocking 100% wool felt at great prices and one of their sets I find REALLY useful- it co-ordinates perfectly with the Label One die set from Spellbinders. Products that work with each other...gotta love that.

The birthday bash continues

over at Nichole Heady's blog. Papertrey Ink are going to start doing regular technique videos, which I am very excited about. Today Nichole did one about embossed resist, which has gotta be my favourite stamping technique.

For this card I stamped PTI basic backgrounds text on white cardstock, clear embossed Hero Arts three ferns over it and then applied a few different shades of Distress Ink. The blossoms are also Hero Arts.
