So you know how banners are everywhere at the moment? I think the pinwheel really follows that same spirit of old fashioned, church fete kind of fun. Perfect for a celebration card.
To make this I basically cut a 3 inch square from a piece of double sided paper, (Crate Paper), drew diagonal pencil lines across to each opposite corner and then cut along the lines, stopping about 1cm away from the center. I used double sided tape to secure the right hand corner of each triangular flap to the center and made it more secure with a needle and thread. Then I cut the split pins off a brad and stuck it onto the front with adhesive foam. Add a sentiment from Papertrey Ink mega mixed messages and you're done!
The stick is a bamboo skewer glued onto the card with Dimensional Magic.
